Apex Cycles Workshop

Our busy workshop carries out a full range of repairs, from smaller jobs such as inner tube replacements through to strip down services and custom bike builds. Our expert mechanics have many years of experience between them, working on a huge spectrum of different bicycles and components.

You can see our two service options below and our labour charges for each (parts not included), if you're not sure which one would be suitable for your bike feel free to chat with our staff, we're happy to help.

GENERAL SERVICE

£90.00

  • Visual inspection of all parts for wear
  • Frame and Forks wiped down
  • Drivetrain full degrease and then lubricated
  • Wheels inspected for damage and play, trued if needed
  • Gear indexing
  • Brakes and brake pads checked
  • All bolts tightened to correct torque
  • Tyres inflated
  • Headset and bottom bracket condition checked

FULL SERVICE

£175.00

  • Full bike strip to frame and rebuild
  • Frame and Fork cleaned
  • Frame checked for any damage and alignment issues
  • Full clean and re-grease of all frame threads
  • Bottom bracket and headset removed, cleaned and reinstalled
  • Drivetrain full degrease and then lubricated
  • Gear indexing
  • Wheels trued
  • Hubs checked for issues
  • All bolts tightened to correct torque
  • Tyres inflated

Custom Builds from £200.00

Full custom bike builds are available. Ask us for more details either in store or by email.

SMALLER REPAIRS

For smaller repairs we offer a 'first come, first served' queue for our workshop.

Drop your bike in with us and we always aim to get you back riding as soon as possible. This is if you need a single smaller job worked on rather than a larger service. If you're not sure about how much work your bike needs feel free to call, email or drop by, we'll be happy to advise.

You can see our estimated labour costs for the smaller jobs below, we are always happy to provide you with a more accurate quote once we see the bike.

Basic Service

Individual workshop jobs

Please note during busy periods the workshop can be fully booked for a number of weeks, early booking is recommended.

A full range of services, tweaks and adjustments are available, including custom wheel building and suspension servicing, drop us a line to find out more or to make a workshop booking. Please note that service prices do not include the cost of any replacement parts. All of our work is fully guaranteed.

Our Mechinics are fully Bosch E-bike trained and acredited meaning we have the knowledge and tools to maintain your E-bike to the highest standards. We can perform everything from firmware updates and fault diagnostics to motor replacements and battery testing.
